Garden City Pond

Location:  579 Buttercup Blvd, Garden City.  Located from Hwy 89, turn west on Buttercup Lane in Garden City, then turn right on Buttercup Blvd.

Daily bag & possession limit: 2 fish total

Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) encourages you to release all bass at community waters.

Pickleville Playhouse

The Pickleville Playhouse 2021 summer season runs from May 27 through September 5. Two productions are shown each year.

Bear Lake Golf Course

Bear Lake is an exciting 9 hole regulation course with a beautiful view of Bear Lake. From the longest tees it presents 3,376 yards of golf for a par of 36.  Bear Lake is a daily fee golf course with an ‘Open To Public’ guest policy.

Limber Pine Trail

Trailhead Location:  30 miles up Logan Canyon a short distance past the Bear Lake summit (GPS: N41°55′500″ W111°28′300″).  Park in the large lot that has a restroom.

Trail Length: 1.5 mile loop

Difficulty: Easy

Route: Limber Pine is a short walk with a series of switchbacks through fir, aspen, and wildflowers. The goal is a large limber pine, which is actually several trees that have grown together.  There are stunning views of Bear Lake from several points.

 

North Beach Bear Lake

Location:  3890 N Beach Rd, St Charles, ID 83272

Swimmers will enjoy two-mile-long North Beach on the north end of the lake. The gradual slope of the lake bottom provides an enormous swimming area. Ramps are available for boaters and water skiers who want to enjoy the water, too.

Just a reminder, North Beach reaches capacity most Fridays at around 11am. On Saturdays, we fill by 10am. We do try to reopen later in the afternoon, as soon as visitation levels drop.

Bear Lake State Park Marina

Location:  940 North Bear Lake Boulevard, Garden City.  On the west side of Bear Lake, on the north end of Garden City, approximately 1 mile north of the US 89 and SR 30 junction.

Minnetonka Cave

Location:  Southeastern Idaho, near the Utah-Idaho border. It is about 12 miles west from scenic Bear Lake, near the head of St. Charles Canyon, and 10 miles west of St. Charles, Idaho.

The cave opens around Memorial weekend and close Labor Day weekend, depending on weather. The cave is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Tours run every half hour and the last tour starts at 5:30 p.m.

Minnetonka Cave, in beautiful St. Charles Canyon northwest of Bear Lake, offers a half-mile of fascinating stalactites, stalagmites, and banded travertine in nine rooms.The hike in and out of the cave is best described as strenuous (896 stairs round trip). A jacket and gloves are recommended, as the temperature in the cave is a constant 40°F.
